Our Story and Ethos 

umma gumma was established in 2021 as a boutique that has a range of stylish interior furnishings, homeware and quality apparel.

Our brand ethos is based on sourcing quality products, made from durable, natural materials that last.  We love sourcing products from around the globe such as Nepal, Denmark and India to name a few, and look for fair-trade co-operatives that make sustainable products.

Our Products

Our selection of apparel ranges from classic linen shirts and cord dungarees, to luxury velvet boyfriend jackets, kimonos and dresses in beautiful prints. We take our knitwear seriously, which is why we source 100% wool knitwear from Nepal, which is ethically made from a fair-trade co-operation. In addition to traditional wool knitwear in exquisite patterns made from natural yarns in Scotland.

Our selection of jewellery involves colourful and fun, unique vintage jewellery and luxury jewellery made from quality materials, such as oxidized silver, diamonds and precious stones. We love our range of brown Moroccan leather bags which has become a staple product of ours since the beginning, in addition to our colourful leather and suede bags. We also provide leather belts, silk scarfs and 100% wool stylish hats. 

 

Our homeware involves items such as candles made from 100% natural wax, bespoke pottery and luxury glassware.  We love sourcing bespoke lighting, that can range from art deco feather lamps to colourful parrots. Our furniture ranges from antiques, traditional farm house pieces to art deco cocktail stands.

 

Our stunning soft furnishings are unique, vibrant and rich in colour, including duck filled velvet cushions and throws in exotic bird of paradise and botanical prints. We also have furniture made to order in these beautiful prints.
